The petals of the flower are designed to compress lactiferous glands

A lactating breast is full of glands that require stimulation to encourage the production of milk. Suction only pumps just pull milk that has a accumulated at the base of the nipple without stimulating milk production in the glands further back in the breast.

Mothers are already massaging their breasts while pumping in order to produce more milk and make pumping go faster. We've heard from moms that this constant massage while pumping is exhausting and we knew that we could design a product to make this experience better for moms.

When moms don't need to be compressing their breast while pumping they can use their hands and get back to what matters most to them.
